No, Mr Bond. I expect you to walk!: Thieves steal Range Rovers destined for next James Bond film
It appears even the world's greatest secret agent can have a bad day.
Five Range Rover Sports, destined for the new James Bond film Spectre were stolen from a Land Rover facility in northern Germany.
The cars had been specially modified for the film and were awaiting transport to the Alps for filming.
Reports note that a total of nine cars were stolen and that police were unaware of a specific plot to target the cars from the film.
It is not known if the Range Rover Sports were fitted with typical super-spy gadgets, but it is likely that new cars will have to be built due to their specific configuration for the film. Bond's cars have been fitted with Q-branch alarm systems before, to mixed effect.
Aston Martin recently unveiled 007's own ride for the film, the limited edition DB10 supercar. The DB10 was created specifically for the movie and will not be made available to the public.
The 24th film in the James Bond franchise, Spectre is set to be released in late 2015.
