2019-2020 Mercedes-Benz GLB250 recalled with wheel arch fault
Parts of the front bumper could detach at speed, according to the manufacturer.
Mercedes-Benz has recalled 25 examples of its 2019-2020 GLB250 SUV, citing a potential fault with the wheel arches.
The recall notice, lodged with the Department of Infrastructure, says: “The wheel arch liners at the front fenders may not have been attached correctly in some vehicles and may detach from the vehicle during operation.
“If the wheel arch liner detaches, this would increase the risk of an accident and/or injury for other road users.
“Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by Mercedes-Benz and are asked to make arrangements with their nearest authorised Mercedes-Benz dealership to have the work carried out as soon as possible.”
