It’s no AMG Black Series performance hero, but Holden’s new Colorado Black Edition could prove appealing in its own right.
Entering as an optional pack for crew-cab Colorado models, the Black Edition adds a hard tonneau cover, black sports and nudge bars, a black bonnet protector and slim-line weathershields atop the side windows.
There’s also two seatback-mounted iPad cradles for rear passengers, although those are described as “while stocks last” items.
For all that, you’ll pay $3995 (likely a little less if the iPad cradle stocks run out), compared to a regular price of around $5000 for those combined items.
Launched in celebration of Holden’s partnership with the Deniliquin Ute Muster (October 3-4), the special pack will be offered until December 31.
The Black Edition will be on display at the Muster, alongside Holden’s Nurburgring-conquering VF SS V Redline ute.
