Volvo Polestar Racing Fires Up V8 Supercar Engine For 2014 Season

Watch for Volvo Polestar's V8 Supercar to be unveiled this Thursday, February 13. 

The dust is yet to settle on the 2013 V8 Supercar season, but Volvo Polestar Racing has already signalled its readiness for 2014 by unveiling the team's new race engine.

The 5.0 litre V8 unit will power the S60 entries for Garry Rogers Motorsport next season, marking Volvo’s return to Australian Touring Car Racing.

Polestar developed the new engine, with assistance from the same engineering team behind the upcoming Drive-E engines, soon to power road-going Volvo models.
