Introducing the Volkswagen Polo Beats - which as the name suggests, is a collaboration between the German carmaker and a company famous for making oversized headphones.

Volkswagen says its smallest car (in Australia, as the up! is no longer in local showrooms) now makes “the biggest noise”, packing a 300-watt premium sound system wearing the Beats logo.

Besides the two tweeters and two woofers (those are speakers, in case you didn’t know) that one might expect in a Volkswagen Polo, buyers of the Beats edition will also get an eight-channel amplifier and a subwoofer in the spare wheel well.
