Renault’s new Megane RS has been spotted undisguised - or at least the back end has.
Dominating the rear end is a centre-mounted tailpipe exit point in a trapezoidal shape, and two exhaust pipes appear visible.
There’s also a spoiler mounted to the tailgate across the top of the rear windscreen, and aggressive rear aerodynamics with a diffuser are also in place.
Otherwise, styling will naturally follow the lines of the rest of the Megane range, and the RS will likely be available in the displayed shade or orange.
Renault has revealed little about the new Megane RS, but fans can likely expect the four-cylinder petrol-powered turbocharged theme to continue under the bonnet.
A six-speed manual gearbox will be standard, while a dual-clutch auto is also expected on the options list.
Everything from all-wheel-drive to all-wheel-steer has been mooted for the RS, but Renault has reportedly promised more power for the new model.
An official reveal could be on the cards for the Frankfurt Motor Show later this year - stay tuned.
