Nissan's reborn Terrano has been spied without a shred of camouflage this week, revealing the small SUV's full production styling.

Published by Austrian site Autofilou, the images also confirm the Terrano's Dacia origins, with the new Nissan based on the existing Duster model that debuted in 2009.

In Terrano form, the SUV picks up Nissan's familiar three-slot grille design, large Patrol-like tapered headlights and Pathfinder-inspired tail lights.

The Terrano also gets its own unique bumper designs at both ends and, while the interior is still to be revealed, the Nissan's cabin is expected to feature improved materials and more upmarket technologies.

The Terrano will be manufacured in India, alongside the Micra hatch and Almera sedan.

Whether we'll see the new Terrano in Australia is unclear and, for now, only an Indian debut has been confirmed.

With the Dualis already here, and the Juke on its way later this year, Nissan's Australian arm would appear to have its small and compact SUV bases covered.

The new Terrano will make its official international debut this week.
