Mercedes Developing Straight-Six Engine, SLC Power Details Leaked: Report

Mercedes-Benz may return to using in-line six-cylinder petrol engines, according to reports out of Europe this week.

According to Britain’s Autocar, the project is aimed at consolidating future engine development across the board, using a modular design that will accommodate four- and even three-cylinder versions.
