Lexus has released a single teaser image of a new “open-air concept”, set to be unveiled at this month’s LA Auto Show.
Details are thin at present, with the Japanese carmaker leaving just the concept’s name and the shadowy outline as its primary clues.
The LF-C2 name suggests a ‘second’ version of the LF-CC concept from 2012, which may preview an upcoming RC Convertible.
Details on powertrain and features for the new concept are yet to be revealed, but the LF-CC was powered by a 2.5 litre four-cylinder petrol-electric hybrid unit.
If the RC Convertible is in the wings, thought will immediately turn to a powered-up RC F Convertible to join its Coupe sibling, moments after the covers have been removed.
Stay tuned to TMR for more news from the LA Auto Show.
