Land Rover has announced two new limited-edition models for the 2016 Land Rover Discovery range, with the Discovery Graphite and Discovery Landmark set to enter showrooms in April next year priced from $70,780 and $106,690 respectively.
The lower-spec Graphite will be available in two guises: the more affordable TDV6 Graphite and the more powerful SDV6 SE Graphite.
The 155kW/520Nm TDV6 Graphite adds new grey-painted trim to the grille and side vents, while also bringing a set of 19-inch alloy wheels in gloss dark grey. Nine exterior and three interior colour schemes can be optioned.
In addition to the above, the SDV6 SE Graphite also comes with a centre console cooler box, HDD sat nav and keyless entry, not to mention a183kW/600Nm turbodiesel V6.
Priced at $89,900, the SDV6 SE Graphite is $5860 more than a standard Discovery SDV6 SE.
At the upper end of the price spectrum is the Discovery Landmark. Based on the Discovery SDV6 HSE, the Landmark comes at a hefty $11,350 premium over that model, but packs plenty of gear to compensate.
Gear like full length roof rails, black fender vents, a black grille and black mirror caps. Landmark badging is also applied and compliments the silver Land Rover badging, while 20-inch 5-split spoke alloy wheels finish off the exterior.
The Landmark is available infive exterior colours, including "Zanzibar" which is exclusive to the Discovery Landmark. Three interior colours are available - black, beige and tan.
Cabin furnishings have been upgraded with Windsor leather upholstery and the application of the Extended Leather Package as standard. A centre console cooler box, heated steering wheel, heated front and rear seats, DAB+ radio tuner and 825W Meridian premium audio system are standard
Adaptive Xenon headlamps with auto high beam and Land Rover's Surround Camera system including 5 cameras are also included as part of the Landmark Edition.
