Lamborghini has handed down a teaser for its planned Paris Motor Show concept, its vague lines hinting at a coupe-like silhouette.

What can we expect? Something all-new is likely, with the profile of this sketch suggesting a more traditional shape than that of the Aventador and Huracan.

The tag line that accompanies the teaser also offers a hint: “Once perfection is achieved, you can just double it”.

Double the doors? Perhaps a new four-door coupe is on the cards, something that evolves the look of the popular Estoque concept revealed way back in 2008.

It is already known that the Estoque had been earmarked for production before the global financial crisis spoiled plans, so Lamborghini may be considering a new tilt at that segment now.

Double the seats? Perhaps Lamborghini is planning a new 2+2 coupe that sticks with two doors, but adds a second row of seating; a design that, in these sorts of cars, is often referred to as a ‘glorified parcel shelf’.

Moving away from the ‘double’ clue, we might also see a new jacked-up coupe crossover concept, taking its inspiration from earlier show cars like the Italdesign Parcour Coupe and Audi Nanuk Quattro off-roaders revealed in 2013.

Lamborghini may even be planning to reveal the final production form of its coming SUV - last shown as the Urus concept - although there’s little in the way of cargo-carrying practicality to be found in this teaser.

A new ultra limited-edition model may also be in the works, following the same formula adopted for the Veneno and Sesto Elemento models developed for extra-special customers.

Whatever Lamborghini’s planning, we’ll see it in just a few weeks. Watch this space.
