Kia has announced the introduction of a new limited-edition offering in the Australian Cerato sedan and hatch line-up, dubbed 'eXtra'.
Based on the Si trim grade and entering below the mid-spec SLi variant, the Cerato eXtra features Bluetooth connectivity, tilt/telescopic steering adjustment, cruise control, steering-mounted audio controls and folding exterior mirrors.
On the 'eXtra' side of things, the small Kia commuter replaces its 15-inch steel wheels with 17-inch alloys, along with front fog lamps, chrome-tipped exhausts, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and rear parking sensors.
The Cerato eXtra is available in five exterior colours: Clear White, Ebony Black, Bright Silver, Titanium Silver and - in hatch form only - Racing Red.
Pricing
In both Sedan and Hatch form, the Cerato eXtra six-speed manual is priced at $21,490, and the 6-speed automatic is $23,490.
That represents a premium of $1250 over the comparative Si model hatch, and $1500 for the sedan.
