A full list of pricing, and the first set of specifications for the new Jaguar XF have been announced by Jaguar before the new model goes on sale in the first quarter of 2016.
No longer the entry-point to the Jaguar range, the new XF moves up-market, with the mid-size XE taking the role of price leader.
Starting from $82,800 for the XF Prestige 20d, powered by a 132kW 2.0 litre turbo diesel from Jaguar’s new Ingenium engine range, the new XF sees a $8515 price rise over the outgoing model.
To counter the price shift the new XF arrives on a new aluminium platform, with increased rear seat space, and a wealth of new high-tech features.
New standard features to appear on the XF Prestige 20d include tyre pressure monitoring, a memory package for driver’s seat, mirrors and steering column, autonomous emergency braking, and park assist for parallel and perpendicular spaces.
Also new, Jaguar’s InTouch media system, including an 8.0-inch capacitive touchscreen, satellite navigation, and an 11-speaker 380w Meridian sound system.
Optional equipment includes full adaptive LED headlamps, with available high-beam assist, and InControl Touch Pro infotainment which brings a 10.2-inch touchscreen with dual-view technology to show the driver and front passenger different information if desired.
The entire specification list for other models in the XF range is yet to be revealed, but full features for XF Prestige 20d detailed below:

Jaguar’s new 132kW 2.0 litre Ingenium turbo diesel opens the XF range and is joined by a 177kW 2.0 litre turbo petrol four-cylinder. A 250kW 3.0 litre supercharged petrol V6 is also available.
At the top of the range a 221kW 3.0 litre turbo diesel V6 and 280kW 3.0 litre supercharged petrol V6 (as seen in the F-Type sports car) are available in the XF S.
All engines are linked to an eight-speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels.
Advanced passive damper technology monitors body movement 100 times per second and wheel movement 500 times per second to deliver optimal ride quality, with damper forces reduced at low speeds.
V6 models also feature Jaguar Configurable Dynamics, allowing the driver to modify the settings of dampers, electric power steering, engine, and transmission.
