Holden's upcoming Cruze Wagon has appeared online once more, with a new gallery today revealing the most comprehensive look yet at the new hauler.
The car shown here is the overseas Chevrolet version, with the Australian Cruze expected to feature the same front bumper design worn by the Series II Cruze sedan and hatch.
Holden has confirmed that the wagonised Cruze will make its Australian debut in 2013; the exact timing has yet to be announced.
“Cruze has been a fantastic success story for Holden, it’s been extremely well received by our customers making it Australia’s fifth highest-selling car in 2011," Holden's John Elsworth said.
“We’re confident Cruze wagon will take the nameplate from strength to strength and reach new customers who are looking for more versatility.”
Details revealed so far include the wagon's 4675mm length (165mm longer than the five-door hatch), and its storage space credentials: 500 litres with the rear seats up, growing to 1500 litres when folded flat.
Powertrains for the Australian version are likely to carry over unchanged from the Hatch and Sedan models.
That includes a 103kW 1.4 litre turbo petrol, a 104kW 1.8 litre petrol and the new 120kW 2.0 litre diesel.
Watch for more details on the Australian Cruze wagon in the coming months.
