Holden has added a limited edition variant to its Colorado pickup range, based on the LS 4WD Crew Cab model.
Called the LS-X, the new model arrives in dealers this week and brings around $2000 worth of accessories for a $1000 premium over the LS.
Customers opting for the LS-X pack will get an alloy sports bar, 16-inch alloy wheels, carpet flooring and unique LS-X badging.
There’s also front fog-lamps and the package is finished off with a Colorado-branded bonnet protector in a ‘smoked’ finish.
Otherwise, the Colorado LS-X boasts the same features as the LS upon which it’s based, including a 3.5 tonne towing capacity, shift-on-the-fly 4WD and a 2.8 litre turbo-diesel engine producing 147kW and 440Nm (500Nm in the automatic).
“The Colorado LS pick-up is a very tough and capable truck and now with these additional features Colorado LS-X is as equally eye-catching,” Holden Executive Director of Sales, Peter Keley, said.
“We are committed and focused on ensuring our customers get exceptional value for money and Colorado LS-X demonstrates this perfectly, boasting over $1,000 of savings on accessories as a group.”
Mr Keley reminded customers that Holden’s lifetime capped price servicing scheme applied to the Colorado LS-X, along with a separate promotion offering free scheduled services until 2020 (available until October 31).
The 2015 Holden Colorado LS-X 4WD Crew Cab pickup is limited to 750 units. Pricing starts at $46,490 for the six-speed manual and $48,690 for the six-speed automatic model - plus on-road costs.
