Citroen Australia is gearing up for the arrival of the new Berlingo van range, and has taken the knife to pricing of remaining stocks for the outgoing model.
Arriving in December last year, the 2015 Berlingo introduced six-speed automatic options to the previously manual-only range in long-body models.
Ahead of the arrival of the 2016 model, Citroen has cut around $4100 from the on-road Berlingo price by switching to drive-away pricing.
As a further sweetener, buyers will also receive a $500 fuel card.
Citroen says the savings equate to around 72,000km of ‘free’ motoring for automatic models, and around 59,000km free riding for manual variants.
During the promotional period, the long-body turbo-diesel Berlingo is priced from $26,000 for the manual and $30,000 for the automatic - both drive-away.
Previously, these models were priced at $25,990 and $29,990 respectively - plus on-road costs.
