For Subaru, the show's shutdown led to the launch of a 'dealership roadshow', headlined by the new WRX concept. Mazda, its new 3 hatch already in-country for a Melbourne unveiling, staged its own media event instead.
Now, this year's National 4x4 & Outdoors Show and Fishing & Boating Expo events will play host to a new automotive pavilion where Holden, Nissan, Jeep, Suzuki and Isuzu will showcase their weekender wares.
