Bentley has offered an in-the-metal preview of its convertible Mulsanne to a privileged few customers at this week's Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. For the rest of us, these new teaser illustrations will have to do.
Officially a concept, the new soft-top version of the still-new Bentley is expected to make its way into production in the next year or two.
Bentley has offered few details on the new topless two-door, although CEO Wolfgang Duerheimer said that emerging markets will be a focus.
"The modern, luxurious, high-tech Mulsanne saloon provides a perfect foundation on which to create the world’s most elegant convertible," Duerheimer said.
"The Convertible Concept will extend the appeal of the Mulsanne family, while enhancing the profile of the Bentley brand, particularly in new and emerging markets."
Expect the new model to ride on a cut-down version of the existing Mulsanne's 3266mm wheelbase, with power drawn from the same 377kW 6.75 litre twin-turbo V8 engine.
Watch for more details and images to surface in the coming months.
