GM’s new Chinese-market Cruze sedan has been revealed further this week, with new interior shots appearing online.
Now, these latest shots reveal the first official look at the Chinese model’s cabin, showcasing a more premium-look design with a new stitched dash pad and a large eight-inch ‘MyLink II’ touch display.
GM describes the new control panel in the centre console as a “butterfly-shaped” design that promises to offer "intuitive, user-friendly operation with clear functions at a glance."
A new leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel is also featured, in front of a new instrument cluster inspired by the more sporting models in the Chevrolet range.
Along with an all-new exterior look, the Chinese-market 2015 Cruze sedan will feature GM’s new 1.4 turbo and 1.5 naturally-aspirated Ecotec engines, along with new six-speed manual and seven-speed dual-clutch auto shifters.
The next move for Holden’s Cruze in Australia is currently unclear, although an update along the lines of the US version is the likely option, before the new-generation Cruze arrives in 2016.
