2013 Kia Pro_Cee’d Revealed Further In Paris

Kia's new European-market Cee'd range has been joined by the next-generation Pro_Cee'd hatch, rounding out the three-model line-up. 

Arriving on the heels of January's five-door hatch and wagon unveiling, the 2013 Pro_Cee'd enters as the range's sporting option, eschewing practicality for a sleek Megane RS-like profile. 

Don't expect to see the Cee'd range here, but with the new Cerato sedan revealed and a coupe body confirmed, Australian buyers won't be going without.

On the styling front, the new Pro_Cee'd shares its face with the regular Cee'd, but gets its own unique design from the A-pillar back.

Combining a fast-rising belt-line and a heavily-tapered roofline, the new three-door also gets wide rear haunches, wraparound tail-lights and a high-set rear window.

The Pro_Cee'd's (Kia, c'mon, drop that apostrophe - Ed) mechanical package mirrors the five-door, with 1.4 and 1.6 litre petrol and diesel engines available.
