All 2012 A3 models are now available with a $5000 rebate, while a trio of A3 variants have also picked up Audi's $1950 Technik pack at no additional cost.
While the need to move remaining stock will be a factor, Audi says it has crafted the deal to ensure that current model A3 Sportback and Cabriolet models "retain their high level of resale value".
“With the third generation soon to be launched, it’s important that we continue to offer a very high customer value with the existing model," Audi Australia marketing boss Kevin Goult said.
"It remains a well-performing model in the Audi range and we expect the runout to be highly successful thanks to the exceptional customer value that we are offering across the entire range."
Features offered with the Technik pack in S tronic-equipped 1.4 TFSI and 1.8 TFSI Sportback models, along with the 1.8 TFSI S tronic Cabriolet, include Navigation System Plus with Audi's MMI controller, Audi Music system and Xenon Plus headlights with LED daytime running lights.
