Mazda has announced a recall of its previous generation Mazda2 (DE series), Mazda3 (BL series) and Mazda6 (GH series) passenger cars sold between 2007 and 2012 for a possible seat height adjustment lifter link issue.
On affected vehicles the seat height lifter link may crack, or in some cases the lifter link retaining nuts may separate. This can lead rattling or a noise from the seat, or in the worst case the seat may move out of position.
