Pagani has released a slew of images showcasing its new Zonda R track-only widow-maker. The Zonda F was already a wicked looking go-kart for boys with huge 'nads', but the Zonda R is wider, lower, longer and lighter than its predecessor.

By the way, it's also faster... and more expensive. (Do not apply unless your wallet is seriously overstuffed.)

The Zonda R is Pagani's final tribute to the current Zonda range, and yet is a staggering 90-percent new. Extensive use of an industry first, according to Pagani, carbon-fibre/titanium composite material sheds almost 200 kilo's ballast. That brings the Zonda R down to a featherweight 1030kgs.

A 550kW (740hp) 6.0-litre V12 engine combines with Pagani's first paddle-shift gearbox to propel the Zonda R from 0-100km/h in 3-seconds flat. A top speed of over 370km/h is also possible thanks to the R's trick aerodynamics package.

Only 16 Pagani Zonda R's will be produced, but only 15 will be available for sale - Pagani is keeping one for itself.

A mere 2.8 million Aussie dollars is all that's needed to get your hands on the R. For those who love their cars in carbon/titanium composites, it might just be the bargain of the year. Be sure to have a click through the gallery below, it's magic.
