BMW AUSTRALIA has confirmed that the appearance-enhancing M Sports package will be available as an option across the 7 Series range from September of this year, with the range-topping 760Li receiving it from October.

The focus of the M Sports package is aesthetics, with a new front and rear bumper, more chrome trim and illuminated door sill plates.

Inside, an M leather steering wheel, alloy trim, sports seats and a black headliner (Alcantara in the 760Li) give the big 7 Series a sportier flavour.

A set of 19-inch lightweight alloys wearing 245/45R19 rubber on the front and 275/40R19 tyres on the rear also come with the package, while 20-inch alloys are a cost option. Although most of the changes are cosmetic, the M Sports package does bring with it some handling benefits in the form of BMW's Dynamic Drive system, which reduces body roll through corners.

Carbon Black Metallic is an exclusive colour to the M Sports Package, and its a fetching accompaniment to the exterior enhancements of the package's more aerodynamic body kit.

Pricing for the 7 Series M Sports Package will be announced soon.
