Melbourne enters its sixth lockdown – so what do we call this one?

For a somewhat lighter approach to another lockdown, and because you've all been asking, according to The Fast and the Furious naming convention, we are in Lock & Down 6.

Melbourne is set to enter its sixth lockdown at 8pm on Thursday 5th August. For all of the updates you can check out our coverage here. In the meantime, for those keeping track here is the official Toretto family lockdown nomenclature...

  • The Lock Down
  • 2 Lock 2 Down
  • The Lock Down: Tokyo Drift
  • Lock & Down
  • Lock Five
  • Lock & Down 6

If you've lost touch with what the family is up to in this round, its the one with the tank, the awesome 1970 Ford Escort RS1600, and the impossibly long runway chase where an Alfa Romeo Giulietta sounds suspiciously like a Subaru WRX.

If you want to catch up, you can currently stream all the F&F movies on Binge.

Hang in there, and we hope we never make it to the next in line, Down 7.
