Only two owners on this cool and rare glass roof Town Coupe. The Marti report shows this Lincoln is the only one made in 1978 with these options. Including: 460-4V V8, C-6 automatic transmission, A/C, 8-track, vinyl roof, Dark Red Velour Comfort Lounge Seats, block heater, and the town coupe package. And as you can see from the dash this was originally a Canadian car. With 96,145 Km on the odometer, that equates to only 59,741 miles. This beauty has been meticulously cared for since day one. Now she is looking for a new home. For 1978, the dashboard was updated for the first time, as the Lincoln Continental adopted a revised version of the Mercury Grand Marquis dashboard. In addition to increasing parts commonality, the update was done to save weight; the plastic-frame Mercury dashboard was lighter than the previous steel-frame version. In a similar move, Lincoln redesigned the rear fender skirts, adopting a version that covered less of the rear wheels.
