Fuel injected high output 5.0L V8 and automatic overdrive put this F100 head and shoulders above the rest! Now featured in our Denver showroom is this wildly custom Ford pickup that is sure to turn heads and burn tires. Approximately 5 years ago this pickup was taken down to the frame and completely gone through to make it much more fun and reliable that it was when it came out of the factory in 1963. The front suspension was pulled out of a 1979 Pontiac Trans Am and provides a much sportier feel. Power disc brakes were added to the front for much better stopping power and power steering makes cornering simple. The 5.0L V8 was pulled from a 1990 Ford Mustang and only had roughly 10,000 miles on it when it was put in and currently has approximately 20,000 miles. Putting the power to the ground is a Ford 9? rear end that has a reputation of holding up to whatever can be thrown at it. As you drive this truck around, it is easy to forget you?re in a truck until you look in your mirrors. The ride is excellent and handles very well. The automatic overdrive transmission keeps the RPM?s down while cruising and eases the pain on the wallet when you get to the pump. This truck is not just performance oriented though, as you drive it around the creature comforts incorporated including leather interior, an upgraded AM/FM stereo, power windows, and air conditioning for the hot days. The body has also had custom work done to it including frenched taillights, power antenna sunk into the corners of the cab, and custom front fenders with a surprise in the scoops. As you pull into the car show, flip the switch under the dash and turn on the strobe lights hidden in the ports on the fenders! This truck turns a lot of heads and is a blast to cruise.
