The Bentley R-type is the second series of post-war Bentleys, with only 2323 of these cars ever produced, they are rare and highly collectable. The R Type???s lovely flowing body encases a highly luxurious cabin, making these vehicles a pleasure to look at and drive. With its alloy-head, 4.6-litre inline six-cylinder engine and four-speed manual, the weighty R Type was capable of swiftly and silently reaching better than 100mph. Our vehicle is a 1953 model, and has undergone a full restoration and presents in stunning condition inside and out. This Bentley is a trophy-winning example, winning ???Bentley preferred by Paul Keating??? in 2004. It is original in every way, from the complete factory tool kit to the original handbook. The paintwork is in excellent condition, complimenting the quality of the restoration, and the body is straight. The interior is also in excellent condition.
