Rolls-Royce has rolled out a telling teaser of its upcoming Wraith coupe, ahead of its unveiling at March's Geneva Motor Show.
The shadowy image slots a few puzzle pieces into place, revealing the fine details of the big camouflaged coupe we've seen testing in recent months.
Rolls-Royce has also confirmed the coupe will be known as the Wraith (a Scottish word for 'ghost'), dismissing earlier rumours of a new Ghost Corniche model.
The British ultra-luxury marque promises the Wraith will be the most powerful model ever to wear the Rolls-Royce badge, although specific details are still to be revealed.
It is likely however that power will come from an enhanced version of the 420kW 6.6 litre twin-turbo V12 that drives the Ghost, with reports pointing to a nearly 450kW output.
With that sort of power, and coupled with the familiar eight-speed automatic, the big Bentley Continental GT rival should ram its way to 100km/h in around 4.5 to 5.0 seconds.
“We will present a model whose starting point is luxury, refinement and exclusivity, traits that have made Rolls-Royce the world’s pinnacle luxury good for the last 108 years," Rolls-Royce CEO Torsten Müller-Ötvös said.
"This is a car not only defined by a timeless elegance, but one that encapsulates a sense of power, style and drama."
