Porsche 911 R: 3D puzzle model revealed
Finally you can afford a Porsche 911 R, but there’s only one problem – you have to build it yourself!
Porsche have collaborated with German puzzle manufacturer Ravensburger to create a 3D jigsaw puzzle of its limited-run 911 R.
The puzzle, which is a 1:18-scale model has 108 plastic pieces and comes complete with moving wheels.
With only 991 produced, the ‘real’ 911 R is starting to command prices above $1 million on the second-hand market, placing it firmly out of reach for most people.
The puzzle however, should be priced at around $50, and will be made available on both the Porsche website, as well as its museum in Leipzig, Germany.
This isn’t the first time that a car manufacturer has let people build versions of its popular cars, with both Aston Martin and McLaren recently offering Lego kits.
For those who like a challenge, Lego has also recently unveiled a full-scale Bugatti Chiron which took over a million pieces to create.
