MINI's upcoming Countryman Coupe isn't the only new model on the carmaker's cards, with news this week that a production version of the recent Clubvan concept has been confirmed.
The Clubvan is closely related to the existing Clubman wagon, but with its back seat replaced by a flat load floor, rear windows filled in, and a cargo barrier added.
Billed as " the world’s first premium delivery van," the Clubvan is no mere showpony, with cargo capacity rated at 860 litres, 500kg payload and a cargo floor measuring 1150mm in length.
The filled-in rear windows are key criteria for recognition as a commercial vehicle by many regulatory bodies.
