Kensington editions will be available on Cooper and Cooper S models in both three and five door hatch variants, with only 15 of each available.

The limited-edition Kensington models will be painted metallic Burgundy, a colour previously reserved for the Mini Clubman, and come with illuminated door sills and specialised badges, including a ‘K’ badge on the side pillars.

All models will get standard Mini Cooper inclusions such as a panoramic sunroof, blacked-out roof and mirrors, piano black interior surfaces and chrome line interior highlights.

The Driver Assist package including forward collision warning, high-beam assist, speed sign recognition and city-collision warning also come standard in all models.

Mini Australia general manager Brett Waudby says the British car maker wants to continue telling the story of exclusivity and personalisation while retaining the Mini sense of fun.

“With Kensington we have taken this a step further by offering customers the ability to secure their allocation online. With only 60 units coming, the race is on,” he says.
