As the carmaker with more gap-filling prowess than anything available at your local hardware store, it may come as little surprise that Mercedes-Benz is considering another new model.
According to reports out of Europe, among the next new wave of vehicles to wear the three-pointed star may be an open-top version of the new GLC Coupe SUV.
This would put Benz one-up on its German rival in BMW, which, as yet, does not offer a cabriolet version of its equivalent X4 SUV.
A GLC Convertible could also serve as a worthy alternative to the new Range Rover Evoque Convertible, which arrives in Australia during Q3 this year.
Chief Engineer for Benz’s GLC, CLS and E-Class models, Michael Kelz, said a convertible GLC would present few challenges to the German carmaker.
