Lacoste teams with Citroen for Paris show car
What happens when you cross a Polo shirt with a car? Meet the Citroen Lacoste.
What happens when a crocodile meets a car? The result is the Citroen Lacoste concept headed for the Paris Motor Show.
The two famous French brands teamed up to produce a car that is “an emblem of a state of mind and a lifestyle.”
It has been designed to change people’s perceptions of small cars, which Citroen claims are seen as short on character.
The Lacoste is defined by a high waistline, no front doors or roof and golf ball-inspired wheels at each corner. It is only 3.4m long, 1.8m wide and stands 1.5m high.
Power for this concept comes from a three-cylinder petrol engine.
Naturally the Lacoste has put its spin on the design too. The interior features seat fabric that resembles a polo shirt and the brand’s famous crocodile logo appeals on the sides of the body.
