Jaguar teases F-Pace SVR exhaust note – Video

The Jaguar F-Pace SVR won't arrive in Australia until later this year, but you're in luck if you're itching to know how the supercharged V8 SUV sounds.

In the above video, courtesy of the British marque's American arm, the F-Pace SVR can be seen tearing through up dirt and tarmac roads, while the raucous exhaust note plays in the background.

Outputs from the 5.0-litre supercharged V8 are rated at 404kW and 680Nm, for a claimed 0-100km/h sprint of 4.3 seconds.

Drive is sent to all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission, augmented by a limited-slip rear differential and a torque vectoring system.

The price? A cool $140,020 before on-road costs in Australia.
