Fiat Group helps Haiti victims
The Fiat Group has helped the earthquake devastated Haiti by providing equipment, technical and financial support totalling US$1 million (AUD$1,107,078).
Working closely with the United Nations, the International Red Cross and the Fondazione Francesca Rava (the Italian arm of Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos, which works with disadvantaged children) the Fiat Group offered their help immediately.
Fiat has provided Fiat Fiorino ambulances and Iveco Daily vans as well as technical personnel and intends to offer a financial contribution of US$250,000 (AUD$276,648) and will remain in contact with the organisers managing the relief effort so they can respond to future needs.
