Fiat 500C Abarth, Fiat Punto Evo Abarth – Geneva 2010
Fiat have presented two of its Abarth performance models at Geneva this year.
First up is the Fiat 500C Abarth featuring a 1.4-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine. Developing 104kW, the convertible pocket rocket makes the sprint to 100km/h in 7.9 seconds.
The hot soft top - or should that be hot hatch with retractable roof - also includes upgraded brakes, lowered suspension, aerodynamic body kit, larger alloy wheels and a striking two-tone paint job.
The Fiat Punto Evo Abarth feature the same 1.4-litre turbocharged engine as its smaller brother, but is tuned to deliver a promising 123kW (a 132kW Esse-Esse model will also be available).
The Golf-sized hot-hatch also receives a similar list of performance and cosmetic upgrades with wheel, brake, suspension, aero-kit and paint scheme alterations.
Australian delivery of both the Fiat 500C Abarth and Fiat Punto Evo Abarth have yet to be confirmed.
