BMW M6 Gran Coupe pictures surface
The BMW M6 Gran Coupe has been uncovered at a BMW event in Germany just days after the BMW M6 Coupe and Convertible were launched in Australia.
The images show the Gran Coupe sitting undisguised at a BMW event held at the Nurburgring before the model’s expected debut at next year’s Detroit Motor Show.
At the BMW M6 Coupe and Convertible launch event last week, BMW Australia said the M6 Gran Coupe was at least a year away, but is likely to be heading to Australia towards the end of 2013.
Like its two-door siblings, the M6 Gran Coupe will be powered by a 4.4-litre V8 engine with two twin-scroll turbochargers capable of 412kW of power and 680Nm of torque.
We suspect the Gran Coupe's 0-100km/h acceleration time to undercut 4.5 seconds, with the price to sit somewhere between the $292,500 coupe and the $308,500 convertible.
