BMW 1 Series M Coupe here in June, 100 only
BMW Australia has announced that its ballistic new 1 Series M Coupe should be with us mid-year, and that Australia will receive a limited number.
Speaking with CarAdvice this morning, BMW Australia spokesperson Piers Scott, confirmed the news.
“1 Series M Coupe will reach us around June or so. We have an allocation of just 100 cars for Australia so expect they will move quickly,” said Mr Scott.
Pricing, he said, would be released closer to the local launch, but judging from its overseas pricing premium over the standard 135i, we should be looking at around $110,000.
Details were released a couple of days ago, when the car debuted at the Detroit Motor Show - click here to read the story.
In related news, BMW’s new 6 Series - in Convertible guise initially - will be here by May, but again, pricing won't be available until closer to the car's launch.
