2022 LDV G10 price and specs: G10+ van added with new 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine

LDV's smallest van gains a new G10+ offering, available with a new 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine, eight-speed transmission and interior improvements.

  • 2022 LDV G10 pricing and specifications
  • G10+ van joins range, with optional 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine
  • New gear selector and reduced road noise add to changes
  • Entry-level G10+ priced from $34,726, around $1600 more than the G10

The 2022 LDV G10 range has been expanded with a series of G10+ van variants, bringing the option of more power, improved fuel efficiency and a revised interior.

Priced from $34,726 drive-away for private customers – or $32,989 drive-away with an ABN – the G10+ range can be had with a 165kW/330Nm 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine shared with the regular G10 range, or a new 118kW/375Nm 2.0-litre turbo four-cylinder diesel engine from LDV's T60 Trailrider 2 ute.

Both engines drive the rear wheels through a new eight-speed automatic transmission developed by Germany's ZF. LDV claims combined fuel economy of 11.1L/100km for the petrol, or 8.2L/100km for the diesel – improvements versus the 1.9-litre diesel G10's 8.6L/100km claim, and the standard petrol G10's 11.7L/100km figure.

Also new for the G10+ is a revised interior, with a new rotary gear selector dial and "new material finishes". Noise, vibration and harshness levels have also been improved, according to LDV.

Behind the passengers is a 5.2 cubic-metre cargo area, offering a payload of 1010kg (diesel) or 1093kg (petrol), "multiple" tie-down points, two sliding side doors, load area lights, integrated side steps, and the option of rear barn doors on the diesel (replacing a lift tailgate).

The 2022 LDV G10+ van range is on sale now.

It joins the standard G10 van, and a slew of G10 People Mover variants in standard and Executive guises – powered by a choice of 106kW/350Nm 1.9-litre diesel and 165kW/330Nm 2.0-litre petrol engines, paired to six-speed manual or automatic transmissions, depending on variant.
