2021 Maserati new cars
Maserati's sedan duo will get high-performance upgrades in 2021, while the brand's first supercar in 15 years is minus a Ferrari engine.
Maserati fared better than most premium car makers in 2020, with sales down just 4.7 per cent compared with the same period last year. The manufacturer sold 422 cars to the end of November 2020, only 21 less than the amount shifted over the same period in 2019.
The Italian brand will launch high-performance Trofeo versions of its Ghibli and Quattroporte sedans next year, both scoring 433kW Ferrari V8 engines, sportier styling and technology upgrades. The hot sedan duo are set to reach Maserati showrooms in the first quarter of 2021.
Maserati have also confirmed the brand new MC20 will arrive in Australia in 2021 – its first supercar in 15 years. Indicating a significant moment for the marque, the new mid-engine supercar will feature Maserati's first fully in-house manufactured engine in nearly 20 years. But those wanting a MC20 will have to wait until 2022, as the Australian allocation for 2021 is already sold out.
