The Lexus brand's new family styling is beginning to take shape, with the new "spindle" grille debuting last year on the new GS sedan and the big LX luxury SUV.
Now, new brochure images obtained by Japanese website Minkara reveal an update to the RX midsized SUV. These reveal a new bumper and, of course, the new chrome-framed spindle grille.
The SUV's headlights have also been updated, and while the shape remains unchanged, the carmaker's familiar L-shaped LED daytime running light dominate the new look. The tail-lights have also been given a going-over.
For 2013, the sports-styled RX range will also welcome a new F Sport variant, available with both the RX 350 and the more powerful RX 450h hybrid variant.
In F Sport form, the RX gets a honeycomb mesh grille, a streamlined bumper design and larger five-spoke alloy wheels. Inside is a sports steering wheel and leather-trimmed sports seats.
If it's anything like its F Sport stablemates, there should also be a tweaked suspension package included.
An official debut for the updated RX range has not been announced, although an unveiling at next month's Geneva Motor Show could be on the cards.
