Aston Martin has released a new promotional video for the reborn Vanquish, the British marque's replacement for the hero DBS supercoupe.
Revealed earlier this year as the Project AM 310 'concept', the Vanquish marks a new evolution of the iconic Aston styling, with sharper lines and an angry new visage.
The Vanquish retains Aston's familiar 6.0 litre V12 engine, but power is boosted to 421kW and 620Nm. Matched with the six-speed Touchtronic 2 sequential shifter, Aston promises a 0-100km/h time of 4.1 seconds.
The 'new' Aston utilises an overhauled version of the VH platform underpinning other models in the line-up, with torsional rigidity improved by around 25 percent.
As you'd expect, there's extensive use of carbon fibre, aluminium and magnesium, and the front end of the chassis is 13 percent lighter than in the Vanquish's predecessor, the DBS.
