Drink in that duco – Porsche and BMW paint-code coffee mugs

For when you need to give a very specific answer to 'what colour is your mug?'

Everyone loves cars and coffee, but for those who love them both, together, at the same time, there is now a uniquely coloured way to savour the simultaneous flavours. Paint code coffee mugs, for BMW and Porsche from Canadian website, Car Color Gear.

Sipping a rich Colombian blend from your 335 Estoril Blue mug, or perhaps downing a piping hot double-espresso while ad-libbing about the history of 80K Guards (India) Red is the sort of good time we all deserve.

The mugs replicate the manufacturer paint-code placards and vary to suit the era of the shade.

We appreciate the attention to detail here, with the dot-matrix style under-hood sticker of a 964 911 convincingly represented on the Z8 Schwarzmetallic mug, and the riveted Porsche Karosserie badge for the more traditional Oak Green 265, which first appeared in 1976.

Just don't try to explain to your mum that 'kunstharzlack' means 'synthetic resin paint' without practising saying it out loud a few times by yourself first.

Over in Munich, roundel fans all have the same colour code representation on all mugs, as is the BMW way.

There are 28 options listed for BMW and 13 for Porsche, but if your chosen hue isn't there the team at CarColorGear will even create a colour option for you.

While I'm fresh out of BMW and Porsche keys of my own right now, a Polaris Silver reminder of my old E28 would be a nice option for a morning brew. Prices are reasonable, around $20 per mug plus shipping, which makes these an ideal Christmas gift
