Henry Ford’s Grandson William Clay Ford Passes Away: Tribute Video

William Clay Ford, last surviving grandson of company founder Henry Ford, has died in the US aged 88.

An employee and board member for 57 years, Ford began working for his grandfather’s company full-time in 1949 after being elected to the board of directors in 1948.

As head of Ford’s Design Committee for 32 years, William was at the head of the table that saw some of Ford’s more ‘limitless’ designs through the wild 50s and swinging 60s.
