This will be the first time a completed Nissan version of 2013’s ‘Car Of The Future’ chassis will be seen publicly, following the unveiling of the car’s VK56DE-based 5.0 litre race engine last month.
Nissan made the landmark announcement that it would enter the 2013 championship in April, and will be the first manufacturer outside of Ford and Holden to officially compete under the V8 Supercar formula.
Erebus Racing will team up with Stone Brothers Racing to field a team of AMG E-Class models in 2013, but they will do so without the official backing of Mercedes-Benz.
This morning’s Nissan unveiling will be followed at 5pm AEDST this afternoon by a special ‘Google+ Hangout On Air’ with driver and team Racing Director Todd Kelly, giving fans the chance to ask questions about the landmark race car.
