Dubbed "WP by Irmscher" and limited to 80 units, the package's features include subtle styling tweaks, along with minor handling and performance tweaks.
Buyers of the package will gain 20-inch Irmscher wheels wrapped in 245/45/R20 Toyo rubber, along with rolled an polished sidesteps.
Handling and style are also tweaked through the introduction of a lowering kit that drops ride height by 40mm.
Walkinshaw also promises performance improvements with the use of its own Dynamic Throttle Response Module.
"The Irmscher products we have available are designed to subtly enhance the Kuga’s looks and performance," Walkinshaw Performance General Manager Tony Harris said.
"It’s a unique and striking vehicle and we believe the discerning Kuga buyer is looking for something a little different and individual.”
Business Manager Andrew Riley added that while the company expects some fans will be surprised at the move to offer products for a Ford model - the brand is most often associated with Holden - it makes "perfect sense" to offer a package for the Kuga.
"Contrary to popular belief Walkinshaw Performance is not specifically aligned to one particular brand or one particular model," Riley said.
“This WP by Irmscher Ford Kuga Limited Edition Package makes a very clear statement about our long term ambitions."
“Together with our key partner suppliers, we have a number of exciting in-house projects underway including a Walkinshaw Edition Package for the last of the VE Commodores. We are always excited about what we do- but this is a whole new area of excitement.”
The package is available from Walkinshaw directly, and from "selected Ford dealers".
As for Ford's all-new 2013 Kuga SUV, an Australian debut is scheduled to occur later this year.
