Walkinshaw Performance is expanding its range with news today of a new Hot Hatch performance pack for Holden's Cruze SRi-V small car.

Unlike the basic pack announced earlier this year, the WP Cruze Hot Hatch adds a huge power boost - for buyers willing to fork over an extra $19,995.

A more affordable ECU tweak is also available, but going the whole hog on the Cruze 1.4 iTi will push output from 103 to 180kW, and 200 to 310Nm.

The boost comes courtesy of an ECU recalibration, along with an upgrade to a larger turbo and and a new exhaust manifold.

If the power appeals but the price doesn't - the package is around two-thirds the purchase price of the car - Walkinshaw says the $1195 ECU tweak will give you "up to" 15 percent more power and 20 percent more torque.

Stick with the more expensive option though and you'll gain buckets more power, along with 18x8-inch Irmscher alloy wheels, and 343mm Competition Friction front rotors with four-pot calipers.

You'll also get an upgraded and recalibrated suspension package developed with Bilsten and Irmscher, a new dual-outlet stainless-stell cat-back exhaust system, and a WP-branded interior by Blackmans.
