5kW? That's no typo, for this Worthersee show car boasts a whopping 5000W sound system in its rump to get showgoers dancing at the annual festival of all things VW.

Dubbed the Amarok Power, this tuned Amarok features a removable DJ set up that unpacks from the load bed, which includes 92 Allen & Heath DJ equipment and a Pioneer CDJ900NXS players.

That equipment drives two VOID ACOUSTICS Impulse 3t speakers and a Stasys Xair subwoofer, the latter of which is fixed to the Amarok Power's tub.

The Amarok Power's exterior has been dressed up to match, with extended fender flares, gigantic 22-inch alloys, deep metallic grey paint and an orange/black stripe package.

Inside, there are leather-upholstered sports seats, an Alcantara-trimmed steering wheel and carbon fibre detailing.

But it's not just the audio system that makes the Amarok Power special. Under the bonnet lies a 3.0 litre turbo diesel V6, which puts out 200kW and 600Nm of torque and takes drive to all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic.

Top speed is a claimed 210km/h, while VW claims the Amarok Power can sprint to 100km/h in a relatively brisk 7.9 seconds.

However all you audio-fiend tradies can put your wallets back in your pockets; the Amarok Power is strictly a one-off.

So don't go expecting a 5kW sound system (or a 200kW V6) to appear on the regular Amarok's spec-sheet any time soon.
