VW Planning Golf R ‘Evo’ Concept, All-Wheel-Drive Polo R: Report

Volkswagen is reportedly planning a pair of new hot hatches: one an enhanced take on a new star, the other a long hoped-for hero model. 

According to the UK's Auto Express, April's Beijing Auto Show could play host to a new Golf R Evo concept, developed specifically for track work. 

If the report proves accurate, the new show-car will do away with the regular Golf R's creature comforts for a stripped-out racing approach.
